The following is an excerpt of a message from Sharon Roddey, Director of the SC Youth Shooting Foundation:

I’d like to take the opportunity to address scoring. Historically, 1st and 2nd rotation scores are viewable until entry of scores begin for the 3rd rotation. Scores are “turned off” at that time and then “turned on” after awards are presented. This leaves an element of surprise for the winners at award time and there are more folks around to join in the celebration. On Saturday, I “turned off” scoring when the 3rd rotation began instead of when the entry of those scores began. I apologize for this error, inconvenience and take full responsibility. If you have further questions or would like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to call, email or text me.

Our next event is at Rocky Creek Sporting Clays on January 13, 2018. Remember, SC Ducks Unlimited will be on site with a special event for about an hour after the 3rd rotation (while we are working on scores/awards) so please make plans to stick around and support our Title Sponsor. More details to follow. My plan is to open registration early due to the Christmas holiday so look for that email on Monday, December 18th. Again, the flyer will be posted to our Tournament Information page on our website.

I (as well as the SCYSF board) thank you for your commitment to youth shooting and welcome any comments regarding this past Saturday’s event. Have a great week!
